RD Industrial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Freelance Point Cloud to 3D Modeler who can convert registered 3D laser scan / Point Cloud data (.E57) into accurate 3D dumb models of industrial plants.

The candidate should have hands-on experience working with industrial point cloud data using Leica Cyclone and/or Autodesk Revit and should also have knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Key Responsibilities

- Convert registered E57 point cloud scan data into 3D models.
- Develop accurate dumb / geometry-based 3D models from existing plant scan data.
- Model industrial plant components such as:
- Piping
- Equipment
- Tanks and vessels
- Structural steel
- Pipe racks
- Platforms and gratings
- Ducting
- Supports and other visible plant components
- Ensure proper alignment and dimensional accuracy of the model with the point cloud.
- Perform self-QC of completed models against scan data.
- Prepare models suitable for further use in AutoCAD Plant 3D and other engineering applications.
- Complete assigned modeling work within agreed project schedules.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with Leica Cyclone / Cyclone 3DR and/or Autodesk Revit
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Positive knowledge of AutoCAD




- Experience handling E57 and other point cloud formats
- Understanding of industrial plant layouts, piping, equipment and structural components
- Experience in Point Cloud to CAD / Scan-to-3D / As-Built Modeling

Preferred Experience

Candidates with previous experience in point cloud modeling for the following industries will be preferred:

- Oil & Gas
- Chemical & Petrochemical
- Power Plants
- Process Plants
- Refineries
- Manufacturing / Heavy Industries
