Attendance & Manpower Management

- Punctuality: Maintain strict regularity as per the duty roster.
- Manpower Allocation: Take attendance reports from Sardars and cross-check with Time Keeping (TK). Regularly monitor worker presence, especially around tiffin hours.
- Shortage/Surplus Optimization: Deploy multi-skilled workers to cover shortages. Transfer surplus workers to other sections or Mill-1, or send them back.
- Dispute Resolution: Resolve floor disputes with Department Heads, or consult Labour Office (LO) staff during shift handovers.
- Discipline & Absence Control: Block frequently absent workers from joining without an LO slip. Deduct attendance for unauthorized absence and report indiscipline to the LO.

Shift Handover & Daily Planning

- Shift Handover: Discuss machine running status and quality with outgoing staff; align incoming staff on spinning allocation.
- Drawing Allocation: Finalize drawing machine allocations based on the spinning plan and sliver availability.

Production & Quality Monitoring

- Material Verification: Check physical stock of back-side process materials (Finisher & Breaker Card Rolls) against the floor board entry.
- Machine Operation: Ensure Sardars and operators start machines at the red-light signal. Ensure workers are assigned to machines before handling indirect tasks.
- Staggered Feeding: Monitor and ensure proper staggered feeding of slivers; intervene if workers refuse.
- Housekeeping: Participate actively in daily 5S activities.
- Work Supervision: Monitor ankrawala/picking work to ensure it matches the schedule.

Data Entry & Reporting

- Digital Logging:



Maintain online entries for running machines, material shortages (sliver cans/rolls), and idle deliveries.
- Performance Tracking: Log worker names machine-wise, record meter readings every 2 hours, and track production/efficiency losses (due to maintenance, jams, shortages, or late comers).
- Visual Management: Update physical display boards with efficiency stats, idle deliveries, and high/low producer rankings.

Maintenance & Quality Audits

- Breakdown Reporting: Immediately report machine breakdowns to the Maintenance department online and physically.
- Quality Inspections: Check drawing section sliver weights as needed.
- Defect Tracking: Log machine abnormalities causing quality deterioration (e.g., over-floating, missing/damaged faller bars, bent pins, pressing roller issues).

Worker Performance & Counselling

- Goal Alignment: Educate workers on production norms and encourage consistency among high achievers.
- Performance Counselling: Identify low producers. Call the 2 lowest producers per day alongside the Sardar and Department Head for counseling. Track their performance for 7 days, and refer them to the LO if they fail to improve.
- Mindset Management: Monitor workers with negative attitudes and consult with the Department Head and LO daily to improve floor positivity.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
