An STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the sewage treatment plant to ensure proper treatment of wastewater and compliance with required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor STP equipment and treatment processes.
- Check pH, flow, DO, sludge level and other basic parameters.
- Operate pumps, blowers, agitators, dosing systems and filters.
- Monitor chemical dosing and maintain required levels.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Maintain daily plant operation logs and readings.
- Identify abnormal conditions and report equipment/process issues.
- Handle sludge dewatering and disposal activities.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping around the plant.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
