Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 3D Motion & FX Artist proficient in both Cinema 4D and SideFX Houdini.

In this role, you will design and execute stunning visual experiences, ranging from premium brand motion graphics to complex visual effects (VFX) and procedural animations.

You will collaborate closely with directors, designers, and compositors to take concepts from style frames to final, high-fidelity renders.

Key Responsibilities

Create motion graphics: Design premium 3D assets, typographical layouts, and promotional animations using Maxon Cinema 4D.

Develop FX simulations: Build procedural simulations in Houdini, including pyro (fire/smoke), fluids, rigid body dynamics (RBD), and custom particle systems.

Bridge pipelines: Integrate Cinema 4D and Houdini scenes seamlessly using standard pipeline workflows, such as exporting Alembic, VDB, or USD files to maintain asset integrity.

Look development & rendering: Set up lighting, texture mapping, and shading using third-party render engines like Redshift or Octane Render.

Procedural modeling: Build smart, procedural asset assets in Houdini that allow for rapid design iterations and variations.

Optimize scenes:



Troubleshoot heavy simulation files, optimize render settings, and manage memory constraints to meet strict deadlines.

Collaborate closely: Coordinate with compositing artists (Adobe After Effects or Foundry Nuke) to deliver cleanly organized render passes for final assembly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Maxon Cinema 4D and SideFX Houdini.

Render Engines: Proven experience with GPU-based renderers, specifically Redshift or Octane.

Technical FX Foundations: Deep understanding of VEX, VOPS, and SOP networks within Houdini.

Motion Design Principles: Solid grasp of weight, timing, camera framing, and contemporary design aesthetics.

Compositing Knowledge: Solid understanding of Adobe After Effects, Adobe pro or Nuke for post-production integration.

Pipeline Agnostic: Familiarity with USD (Universal Scene Description) or Solaris environments is a massive advantage.

Scripting (Optional but preferred): Basic knowledge of Python for automation and custom tool building.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
