As an Azure Data & Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable data structures and backend services in Azure to power custom React frontends. You will understand business requirements, analyze complex data logic, and transition existing Power BI reporting setups into robust Azure SQL Databases, Azure Functions, and Python-driven backend integrations. Understanding data, writing efficient queries, and mastering data logic are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend & Database Architecture:

- Design, optimize, and maintain SQL schemas, views, stored procedures, and complex queries within Azure SQL Database.
- Migrate data and logic from Power BI models to relational database environments to serve web application frontends.
- Write clean, maintainable code using Python and SQL to process, transform, and structure business data.

API & Serverless Development:

- Develop and maintain Azure Functions (Python/SQL) to power backend REST APIs consumed by React frontend applications.
- Implement business logic in backend services ensuring low-latency data access and high performance.

System Integration & Azure Services:





- Configure and manage integration across Azure services (Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, Data Lake).
- Ensure data consistency, security, and integrity across database layers and frontend endpoints.

Documentation & Best Practices:

- Document database schemas, API contracts, backend logic, and data flows.
- Establish best practices for database management, query performance tuning, and code maintenance.

Job Details:

- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid
- Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
- Work Location: Remote and In person (Chennai, Tamil Nadu)
- Fresher with relevant knowledge also preferred.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- SQL & Azure SQL Database: 1 years (Required)
- Python Development: 1–2 years (Required)
