Senior Architect – Job Responsibilities Key Skills

- Lead and manage architectural design projects from concept through completion.
- Develop design concepts, presentations, drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, budgets, timelines, and design expectations.
- Manage and mentor junior architects and design team members.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and other consultants.
- Review architectural drawings and ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and applicable standards.
- Prepare and review BOQs, specifications, material selections, and tender documentation.
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress against approved drawings and specifications.
- Resolve design and technical issues during construction.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and project management teams.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, presentations, and project discussions.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and design milestones.




- Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples.
- Support cost optimization and value-engineering exercises while maintaining design intent.
- Identify project risks and coordinate timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure proper revision control.
- Stay updated on architectural trends, materials, technologies, sustainability practices, and relevant regulations.
- Ensure projects meet required standards for quality, functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
- Solid architectural design and technical knowledge
- AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, and other relevant design software
- Project and team management
- Client and consultant coordination
- Knowledge of building codes and construction practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Knowledge of materials, specifications, and construction detailing

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
