Assistant Engineer – Carpentry & Checklist

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Engineer – Carpentry & Checklist to supervise carpentry and finishing activities at our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise all carpentry works including doors, frames, wardrobes, cabinets and wooden fixtures.
- Check dimensions, alignment, level and finishing quality.
- Ensure carpentry work is completed as per drawings and specifications.
- Inspect completed works using project checklists.
- Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with carpenters, contractors and site engineers.
- Monitor manpower, materials and daily work progress.
- Ensure proper material usage and minimize wastage.
- Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records and checklists.
- Ensure site safety procedures are followed.

Requirements:





- 5–10 years of relevant construction/carpentry supervision experience.
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Positive knowledge of carpentry and finishing works.
- Strong inspection, documentation and site coordination skills.
- Ability to manage workers and subcontractors.
