1. Night Shift – Fixed

- 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- Fixed, non-rotational shift
- Night shift allowance applicable

2. General Shift – Rotational

- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotation between the above two shifts

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Research Associate (JRA) to join our molecular diagnostics laboratory. The role involves routine molecular and microbiological laboratory operations, sample processing, documentation, and maintaining quality standards.

The responsibilities and eligibility are the same for both shift options; only the working hours differ.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform molecular diagnostic testing using PCR techniques.
- Handle microbiological culture processing.
- Carry out sample preparation and routine laboratory procedures.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, quality control procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and test records.
- Ensure timely processing of samples received during the assigned shift.
- Coordinate with other shifts for smooth laboratory operations.




- Maintain cleanliness and proper laboratory workflow.

Eligibility

- M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related disciplines.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with relevant molecular biology or diagnostic laboratory experience will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in the assigned shift.

Compensation

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

- General/Rotational Shift: ₹15,000 per month
- Fixed Night Shift: ₹15,000 basic salary + ₹5,000 night shift allowance = ₹20,000 per month
