Location : Hyd or Bengaluru (Hyrbid 3 days onsite)

Duration : 6 Months + (Can go upto 2 years)

Option -1 : From 2 pm to 10 pm IST

Option - 2 : Some of the folks start the day early at 9 am IST work half day and take afternoon off and restart from 6pm -10 pm).

Role -1 Data Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

- Ingest & clean messy customer support data From Bliss, Salesforce, Sprinklr, JIRA, etc.
- Fix fragmentation & missing metadata Understand why data doesn’t align across systems.
- Build reliable ETL/ELT pipelines Zero‑downtime, monitored, failure‑proof.
- Work with operations teams Push back when source logging is broken.
- Build business logic for downstream datasets Understand how CS operations work.

Required Competencies

- Strong SQL + Python/PySpark
- Big data tools: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka (basic familiarity is enough).
- Comfort with messy, unstructured data
- Understanding of business operations (Customer Support)
- Ability to ask the right questions (“Why is this field missing?”, “Why does this dataset not align?”)
- Understanding of vector databases is nice to have.

Soft Skills

- Curious, proactive, independent
- Comfortable with monotonous but critical data cleanup

Role-2 - Senior Data Engineer – AI Semantic Layer (Pillar: AI Semantic & Metrics Foundation)

This role builds the semantic layer — the business metric definitions + standardized logic that AI agents will rely on.

Primary Responsibilities

- Build Client’s semantic layer: Standardize business metrics for CS operations.
- Define metric logic & business rules Deep understanding of CS workflows.
- Transform cleaned data into business‑ready datasets This is the “final output” layer.
- Partner with US-based leads Smaller team, high ownership.

Required Competencies

- Deep understanding of data + business metrics
- Robust SQL + Python
- Experience with metric layers / semantic layers (even if not Uber’s)
- Ability to translate business logic into data logic
- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Presto, Pinot, Hudi, Kafka)
- Past experience with Data Models and Semantic layer used by AI.
- Experience with Vector databases is nice to have.

Soft Skills

- Business thinker
- Can challenge complexity (“This metric definition won’t scale”)
- Can work in ambiguity
- Can design data models that AI agents will use

Pay: ₹508,966.41 - ₹1,870,159.69 per year
