Lodge Receptionist

Location: Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu
Salary: ₹15,000 per month
Duty: 12-hour shift

We are looking for a responsible, polite, and customer-friendly Lodge Receptionist to manage the front desk and assist guests with check-in, check-out, room enquiries, and other day-to-day lodge operations.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to handle guests professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage room bookings and reservations.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest enquiries.
- Maintain guest records and registration details.
- Collect room payments and issue receipts.
- Handle cash and maintain basic daily accounts.
- Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room availability and cleaning.
- Address guest requests and complaints politely and promptly.
- Maintain the reception area and ensure smooth front-desk operations.
- Keep proper records of room occupancy, bookings, and payments.




- Assist guests with basic information about the lodge and nearby facilities.
- Report any maintenance, security, or guest-related issues to management.
- Perform other duties related to lodge operations as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Minimum 10th / 12th pass.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Tamil is required; basic English is preferred.
- Polite, well-mannered, and customer-friendly attitude.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Previous hotel/lodge reception experience is preferred, but freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
- Honest, punctual, responsible, and willing to work in a customer-facing role.

Salary & Benefits
