Summary
UST is looking for a Business Info Developer with strong experience in Tableau Dashboard Development, SQL, Qlik, and Tableau Role-Level Security. The ideal candidate will have experience in the US Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain and will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and migrating business intelligence dashboards while collaborating closely with stakeholders and onshore teams.
The Opportunity
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop new Tableau dashboards, reports, visualizations, and enhancements within lower environments.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand business processes, reporting requirements, KPIs, and dashboard objectives.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly Tableau dashboards that support operational and business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain Tableau calculations, filters, parameters, data sources, and underlying SQL queries.
- Implement and maintain Role-Level Security / Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within Tableau.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure dashboard accuracy, consistency, and data quality.
- Conduct demos and walkthroughs of completed dashboards and enhancements in lower environments.
- Respond to ad hoc business and technical questions related to dashboards, calculations, filters, and underlying SQL.
- Coordinate effectively with onshore teams for the promotion and deployment of validated Tableau content to upper/production environments.
- Support the migration of legacy Qlik dashboards and reports to Tableau.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Follow Agile development practices, documentation standards, and established BI/reporting governance processes.
- Manage multiple dashboard development and enhancement activities while meeting project timelines and deliverables.
What you need
Required Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in the US Healthcare and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Dashboard Development.
- Strong SQL skills, including querying and validating underlying data.
- Experience with Tableau Role-Level Security / RBAC.
- Experience with Qlik dashboards and reporting.
- Experience in dashboard development, enhancements, data visualization, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of business requirements and requirements gathering.
- Ability to translate business processes and requirements into effective dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a rapid-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) software and systems.
- Experience migrating Qlik-based dashboards to Tableau.
- Knowledge of US Healthcare, pharmacy claims, benefits, and PBM processes.
- Experience with Tableau data security, access controls, and RBAC.
- Experience collaborating with onshore/offshore teams.
- Knowledge of BI governance, dashboard standards, and production deployment processes.
Qualification
- BTech, MCA, or equivalent degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology,
or a related discipline.
- Graduation/post-graduation in Healthcare, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
