E&I; Designer / Instrumentation Designer – Oil & Gas

Job Summary
Hiring an experienced E&I; Designer / Instrumentation Designer with strong Oil & Gas engineering design experience. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in preparing E&I; drawings, layouts, schedules and construction deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare E&I; design and drafting deliverables using AutoCAD.
- Develop E&I; equipment layouts, cable tray & cable routing layouts, cable schedules, load schedules, MCT schedules, termination drawings, loop diagrams and hook-up drawings.
- Prepare GA drawings, schematics, block diagrams, installation drawings and MTOs.
- Review and modify drawings based on client comments.
- Perform interdisciplinary checks with Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Structural and E&I; teams.
- Review vendor drawings and support site engineering/construction activities.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare red-line and as-built drawings.
- Work with Lead E&I; Engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or related Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in E&I; / Instrumentation Design.
- Robust AutoCAD skills; knowledge of Excel & MS Word.
- Experience in Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas projects preferred.
- Knowledge of site engineering and construction.
- Experience with SP3D / PDMS / AVEVA / REVIT is an advantage.
