Position: Plant Head – Manufacturing Operations

Job Summary

The Plant Head will be responsible for managing end-to-end plant operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch. The role will focus on achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, improving productivity, controlling costs and ensuring timely delivery of AC components and HVAC sub-assemblies.

The position will also be responsible for manpower management, process improvement, operational planning and coordination with various internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch.
- Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Ensure achievement of production targets with focus on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
- Manage manufacturing operations for AC components, tubing and HVAC sub-assemblies.
- Monitor production efficiency, productivity, rejection, wastage and material utilization.
- Ensure smooth functioning and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Stores and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
- Drive cost reduction, productivity improvement and process optimization.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, EHS and statutory requirements.
- Monitor plant performance through MIS, dashboards and operational KPIs.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives for production bottlenecks, quality issues and operational challenges.
- Manage manpower planning, workforce productivity, discipline and team development.




- Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of requirements.

Technical Requirements

- Strong experience in AC / HVAC / Refrigeration component manufacturing.
- Hands-on exposure to copper/aluminium tubing and AC component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of tube cutting, bending, brazing, piping and related manufacturing processes.
- Experience in HVAC/AC sub-assembly manufacturing.
- Positive understanding of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing process improvement.
- ERP/MIS experience will be preferred.

Experience & Qualification

- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Relevant experience in AC components, tubing, HVAC, refrigeration or related manufacturing.
- Experience handling multiple plant functions such as Production, Quality, Maintenance and Stores.
- Prior experience as Plant Head / Plant Manager / Operations Head / Senior Production Manager will be preferred.
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
