Job Title: DP Operations Executive

The Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible DP Operations Executive to manage day-to-day Depository Participant (DP) operations and provide productive support for clients' Demat accounts and securities-related requests. The role involves handling Demat account processes, transaction-related activities, documentation, client queries, corporate actions and coordination with internal teams and depositories while ensuring accuracy, timely processing and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day Depository Participant (DP) operations and Demat account-related activities.
- Process Demat account opening, modification, closure and maintenance requests. Verify and process client documents as per applicable KYC and compliance requirements.
- Handle Dematerialization (Demat) and Rematerialization (Remat) requests.
- Process securities-related instructions including transfer, pledge, unpledge and other DP transactions.
- Handle and maintain Delivery Instruction Slips (DIS) and other DP-related documents.
- Process Transmission of securities and related client requests.
- Assist in processing corporate actions, including bonus shares, stock splits, rights issues, dividends and other applicable benefits.
- Monitor client holdings and transaction-related discrepancies and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Respond to and resolve client queries related to Demat accounts, holdings,
transactions and DP services.
- Coordinate with NSDL/CDSL, back-office, compliance, accounts, RMS and other internal departments whenever required. Maintain proper records of DP transactions, forms, instructions and supporting documents.
- Track pending requests and ensure that transactions are completed within prescribed timelines.
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, operational controls and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify operational discrepancies and escalate issues to the appropriate team/supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client and transaction-related information.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports and MIS as required by management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and transaction records.
Qualification
- Minimum Graduates
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in DP Operations, Stock Broking, Banking, Capital Markets or Financial Services.
- Freshers with relevant knowledge/certification may also be considered.
