The Shri Ram Universal School, Hyderabad is inviting applications for the position of Football Coach & PE Teacher to support the physical development, fitness, and sporting excellence of students.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and skilled professional with a strong background in football coaching and physical education, who is passionate about sports education, fitness, teamwork, and nurturing young sporting talent while making a lasting impact on students’ lives.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) – Mandatory
- Master’s degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) or Sports Science – Preferred
- Relevant football coaching certification from a recognized sports body – Preferred

Experience:

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a PE Teacher / Football Coach, preferably in a CBSE school
- Robust experience in football coaching and school-level football training
- Experience in coaching and preparing school football teams for inter-school competitions and tournaments
- Experience in conducting structured football and fitness training for students across different age groups
- Knowledge of football techniques, rules, tactics, match preparation, and injury prevention

Location Preference

Preference will be given to local candidates from Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct structured Physical Education and football training sessions focusing on skill development, fitness, agility, coordination, and endurance
- Coach students in football techniques, tactical awareness, game rules,



teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Identify and nurture football talent through regular training, observation, and performance assessment
- Develop age-appropriate football training plans and fitness programmes for students across different age groups
- Organize and supervise football practice sessions, matches, and inter-school tournaments
- Prepare and coach school football teams for competitive events and represent the school at various sporting competitions
- Ensure proper warm-up, cool-down, conditioning, and adherence to student safety and injury-prevention practices
- Ensure the safe and appropriate use, maintenance, and storage of sports equipment and facilities
- Maintain records of student participation, performance, fitness levels, skill development, and progress
- Encourage participation in football and other physical activities while supporting students with varying levels of sporting ability
- Promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, fair play, and a positive sporting culture among students
- Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and parents to support students’ overall physical, social, and personal development
- Contribute to the planning and execution of the school’s sports events, athletic activities, competitions, and annual sports programmes
- Promote an inclusive, disciplined, motivating, and competitive sports environment within the school

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
