Golden Link is hiring a remote Joinery Detailer & SketchUp Draftsperson based in India to support our joinery factory and fit-out projects. You will prepare accurate, production-ready joinery drawings and 3D models from architectural and interior-design information.

This is a fully remote, full-time role. Candidates must be comfortable coordinating online with teams in the UAE and working to agreed drawing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce detailed joinery shop drawings and SketchUp models for wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, doors, furniture, vanities, wall cladding, reception counters, and bespoke joinery.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, construction details, material specifications, hardware details, and fixing details.
- Convert design concepts, reference images, architectural drawings, and mark-ups into clear production drawings.
- Ensure dimensions, material thicknesses, joints, finishes, and hardware are suitable for fabrication.
- Coordinate remotely with Golden Link’s design, factory, estimation, and project teams through email, WhatsApp, online meetings, and drawing mark-ups.
- Revise drawings promptly following technical comments, client feedback, or production requirements.
- Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and supporting production information when required.
- Maintain clear file naming, drawing revisions, and organized project folders.
- Meet agreed deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Requirements

- Minimum 2–4 years of joinery-detailing, furniture-detailing, fit-out drafting, or technical-drafting experience.




- Strong knowledge of joinery construction and materials, including MDF, plywood, laminate, veneer, solid wood, hardware, finishes, and fittings.
- Advanced proficiency in SketchUp; AutoCAD is highly preferred.
- Ability to create accurate 2D production drawings, sections, elevations, and construction details.
- Ability to understand architectural and interior-design drawings.
- Reliable internet connection, suitable computer/laptop, and availability to coordinate during UAE working hours when required.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work independently.
- A portfolio showing relevant joinery, furniture, cabinetry, or fit-out detailing work is mandatory.
