Job Title: Java Spring Boot Developer (Contract)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer for a 6-month contract role. The candidate must be based in Tamil Nadu or Bangalore to collaborate effectively with our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing high-performance RESTful web services, building scalable microservices, and integrating back-end logic with database systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write clean, maintainable, productive, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous messaging services.
- Collaborate with database engineers to design, optimize, and execute SQL/NoSQL queries.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily Agile stand-ups.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and deploy timely fixes.

Required Qualifications





- Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience using Java 8 or higher.
- Core expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles and microservices architecture.
- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle and version control using Git.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with message brokers such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).

Work Location & Terms

- Candidates must currently reside in Tamil Nadu or Bangalore.
- Work setup: Hybrid / Remote (depending on project requirements, restricted to specified regions).
- Engagement: 6-Month Contract.
