Job Description

GPE Expo Pvt Ltd is hiring a General Manager – Exhibitions to lead sales, business development, and promotional strategy across its global exhibition portfolio. This is a senior, full-time leadership position based in Ahmedabad, requiring frequent travel — both within India and internationally — to drive exhibitor acquisition, manage agent networks, and support on-ground execution of exhibitions.

Responsibilities

- Drive exhibitor sales and sponsorship revenue across the company's global exhibition calendar
- Develop and manage relationships with sales agents and channel partners across multiple regions
- Plan and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for upcoming exhibitions
- Represent the company at industry events, roadshows, and client meetings internationally
- Coordinate with internal operations teams for seamless exhibition planning and delivery
- Travel extensively, domestically and internationally, for sales visits, exhibitions, and partner meetings





Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of experience in the exhibition/trade show industry
- Prior experience in exhibitor sales, business development, or B2B event management (pharmaceutical industry exposure preferred)
- Demonstrated success managing agent networks and closing exhibitor sales
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse markets and cultures
- Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally
- Based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate on a full-time basis
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-stage international organization

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
