Role Description<

The Freelance Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that showcase House of Sonal's sarees, fabrics, and store experience in an aesthetically compelling way. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing product shoots, lifestyle and editorial shoots, in-store ambience photography, and occasional event coverage aligned with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with the creative and styling team, setting up lighting and compositions, directing models when needed,



and delivering edited images optimized for digital and print use. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence at the store and related locations.

Qualifications

- Solid product and fashion photography skills, especially with textiles, garments, and lifestyle imagery.
- Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and basic studio setups.
- Experience in photo editing and post-production using tools such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Ability to compose visually engaging images that reflect brand aesthetics and storytelling.
- Comfort working on-site, coordinating with stylists and store teams, and directing models when required.
- Attention to detail, color accuracy, and consistency across shoots and deliverables.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to work part-time, meet deadlines, and manage multiple shoots.
- Prior experience in fashion, retail, or luxury brand photography is preferred; portfolio required.
- Knowledge of social media and e-commerce image requirements is an advantage.
- Relevant training or education in photography, visual arts, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
