We are looking for an experienced Service Writer to join and our growing team. You will play a crucial role in directing the team of mechanics who facilitate the completion of work required to service our company vehicles. Leveraging your extensive leadership skills, knowledge of vehicle servicing standards, and excellence in customer care. You will be accountable for the service departments and financial performance by meeting the goals for the repair facility.

Responsibilities will include:

- Monitor and respond to all after-hours emails and operational requests.
- Plan and schedule mechanics for overnight and early-morning shifts based on repair priorities.
- Follow up with mechanics to track repair progress and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate and manage service calls, including roadside repair requirements.




- Prepare a clear and detailed handoff for the morning shift in Canada on outstanding repairs, service calls, and priorities.
- Review and approve invoices related to overnight service calls, ensuring accuracy and appropriate authorization.
- Coordinate shop scheduling and prioritize repair requirements.
- Manage and follow up on service calls.
- Monitor and respond to operational emails in a timely manner.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in trucking industry preferred
- Must have knowledge regarding truck parts
- At least 2 years working in a similar environment
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Effective problem-solving skills and strong logic
- Appropriate email and verbal communication (Tech savvy)
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and equipment components and parts
- Mechanical Knowledge relative to Semi tractor/trailers is an asset

Shift timing: 11:00am- 8:00pm with days off on Wednesday and Thursday. Working on weekends in mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
