Job description 2: Senior SAP ABAP OTC Developer We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP Developer with 8+ years of experience to join a global technological transformation project focused on a large-scale S/4 HANA implementation. The candidate will be a key technical player in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) workstream, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, scalable solutions strictly aligned with Clean Core architecture best practices. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain complex SAP solutions for OTC processes (Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, etc.). • Translate functional specifications into high-quality technical designs. • Design and develop integrations between SAP and third-party systems. • Perform code reviews, provide work effort estimates, and actively support functional and integration testing cycles. Key Technical Requirements: • 8+ years of hands-on experience in core SAP ABAP development in large-scale S/4 HANA implementations. • Deep understanding of SAP Clean Core principles, the ABAP Cloud development model, the 3-Tier extensibility model, and SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP) • Advanced proficiency in the S/4 HANA development environment: CDS Views, OData services, AMDP, and SQL programming.



• Experience building and exposing OData services for SAP Fiori applications, and UI generation using Fiori Elements (CDS annotations). • Strong knowledge of OTC-related technical objects, including OData Services (C_SalesOrder, C_SalesOrderItem), BAPIs (BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2, BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE), and specific CDS Views (SO_ORDER_HEADER, SO_ORDER_ITEM, A_SO_ORDER_SLS). • Proven experience with BADIs, IDOCs, RFC, ALE, LSMW, and Adobe Forms/SmartForms. • Solid ABAP debugging skills, workflow experience, and proficiency with ALV and Data Dictionary. • Practical knowledge of Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA. Nice to Have: • Experience with S/4 HANA migration initiatives and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform). • Exposure to custom SAP Fiori UI5 (JavaScript/XML) frontend development. • CAP (Cloud Application) programming models. • Knowledge of SAP MDG and Vistex. • Relevant SAP technical certifications.
