AMET Global is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in academic counseling, student counseling, admissions, education sales, or a related field.

The candidate will be responsible for counseling students and parents, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable courses, and assisting them throughout the admission and enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' academic goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle student inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Guide students through the complete admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Meet assigned counseling and enrollment targets.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams.
- Stay updated on courses,



eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience is mandatory.
- Experience in academic counseling, admissions, EdTech, or education sales is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling, convincing, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to handle students and parents professionally.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.
