Site Engineer – Telecom O&M;

Job Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) activities at assigned telecom sites.
- Monitor site performance and ensure timely resolution of site alarms, faults, and outages.
- Coordinate with technicians and field teams for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Attend and resolve power, battery, DG, transmission, and equipment-related issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper functioning of telecom equipment and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with customers, NOC teams, and project teams for fault resolution and service restoration.
- Ensure adherence to SLA requirements and complete assigned activities within the stipulated timelines.
- Maintain proper records of site activities, faults, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports related to site O&M; activities.
- Ensure proper use and availability of PPE, tools,



and safety equipment at sites.
- Follow all company and customer safety procedures while carrying out field activities.
- Manage and supervise technicians at assigned locations.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Telecom-related work.
- Experience in Telecom O&M; will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of telecom equipment, site infrastructure, alarms, and troubleshooting.
- Positive coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to travel to telecom sites as required.
- Must be willing and physically fit to climb telecom towers, wherever required.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
