Role Description The RO Service Technician is a full time, on-site role based in Namakkal. The individual in this position will install, inspect, and maintain RO (reverse osmosis) water purifier systems at customer locations, including performing routine servicing, filter replacements, and troubleshooting faults. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, completing scheduled service visits, maintaining service records, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves interacting with customers to explain maintenance performed, provide basic operating guidance, and escalate any complex issues to senior technicians or management.



The technician is expected to follow company standards, adhere to safety procedures, and support the team with inventory checks and basic spare parts management.
Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to diagnose RO system issues, identify root causes, and apply practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical matters clearly, coordinate with the team, and document service activities.
- Customer service skills to manage on-site visits professionally, respond to concerns, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Basic sales and finance awareness to suggest suitable service plans or upgrades and handle simple billing or service-related cost queries.
- Hands-on experience or training in RO or water treatment systems, plumbing, or related technical fields.
- Ability to work in office in Namakkal, travel locally for service calls, and handle physical tasks such as lifting and installing equipment.
- Attention to safety procedures and quality standards when working with water systems and electrical components.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or water-treatment disciplines is an advantage.
