About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Proofreader to review and polish written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, clarity, and consistency.

The ideal candidate has excellent English language skills and a robust eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Proofread and edit documents, articles, blogs, and other written content.
- Identify and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Improve sentence structure, readability, and overall clarity while maintaining the original meaning.
- Ensure consistency in tone, terminology, formatting, and style.
- Review content carefully and deliver error-free work within agreed deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions when required.

Requirements




- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong grammar and proofreading skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain consistency across documents.
- Previous proofreading, editing, content writing, or similar experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Google Docs / Microsoft Word is preferred.

Engagement & Payment

- Projects will be assigned based on availability and requirements.
- Payment will be made on a project basis, depending on the volume and complexity of the work.
