Ventós Group is an international company specialized in the distribution of ingredients as Essential Oils & Aroma Chemicals for the Flavors & Fragrances Industry with the Head Quarters located in Barcelona, Spain.

The company has 9 subsidiaries around the world and Ventós India is the Indian one, located in Mumbai, India.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our team in India.

Responsibilities

- Communicate and keep supplier quotations and offers up to date.
- Request samples and quotations from suppliers and ensure they are regularly updated.
- Prepare sales reports and follow up on sales performance with suppliers.
- Support price negotiations with suppliers.
- Manage and follow up on supplier claims related to quality, service, and other issues.
- Monitor purchasing schedules and ensure timely follow-up.
- Manage samples received for the Laboratory and Commercial departments.
- Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure smooth purchasing processes.




- Communicate price changes to the Sales team and implement new sales strategies based on market fluctuations.
- Follow up on sales actions and initiatives together with the Commercial department.

Profile

- At least 2–3 years of recent experience as a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist within an international purchasing workplace.
- Previous experience in the chemical, Flavor & Fragrance, or similar industrial sectors will be considered a plus.
- Higher education in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of import/export processes, Incoterms, margin calculations, and foreign exchange.
- Fluent or strong professional level of English is essential.
- Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
