About the Role

On2Cook India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled VMC Operator cum Programmer who can independently handle 4-axis VMC operations, machine setting, tooling, and CNC programming using Autodesk PowerMill.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, set and program 4-axis VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Develop, edit and optimize CNC programs using Autodesk PowerMill.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; and process sheets.
- Perform machine setting, tool setting, fixture setting and work/tool offset corrections.
- Set appropriate cutting parameters, tools and machining strategies for different components.
- Execute 4-axis machining operations with accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot machining, programming and tooling-related issues.
- Monitor production quality,



dimensional accuracy, tool wear and machine performance.
- Inspect machined components using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Coordinate with Design, Production and Quality teams to resolve machining-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for reducing cycle time, tool consumption and machining costs.
- Maintain machine, tooling and programming records as required.
- Follow all safety, quality and production standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / CNC / Production Engineering or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience as a VMC Operator cum Programmer.
- Strong practical experience in 4-axis VMC machining.
- Proficiency in Autodesk PowerMill for CNC programming.
- Good knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters and offsets.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of machining processes, inspection methods and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.

Preferred Experience

2–3 years of relevant experience in VMC operation and programming, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.
