Job Description – CCTV Technician

Position: CCTV Technician
Department: IT / Security
Location: Mohali
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
- Handle DVR/NVR installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Diagnose and resolve camera, recording, connectivity, and display issues.
- Install and maintain CCTV cabling, connectors, power supplies, and networking equipment.
- Configure IP cameras, switches, routers, and remote viewing systems.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and system checks.
- Replace faulty cameras, cables, adapters, hard drives, and other CCTV components.
- Maintain proper records of CCTV installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the IT and security teams for CCTV-related requirements.
- Ensure all CCTV systems are working properly across offices, stores, sites,



and other company locations.

Requirements

- ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a relevant field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience as a CCTV Technician.
- Positive knowledge of CCTV, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, networking, and cabling.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, routers, switches, and IP configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to different company sites when required.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
