About us:
IRP Systems is an Israeli deep-tech company at the forefront of electric vehicle (EV) power electronics. We design and manufacture advanced semiconductor-based power conversion systems for the EV industry, operating across global R&D;, manufacturing, and business locations.
You’ll be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities
Line Expansion & Capacity Readiness
· Develop and execute line expansion plans to support changing product mix, production requirements, and volume ramp-up.
· Assess manufacturing capacity, equipment requirements, manpower needs, and infrastructure readiness with EMS partners.
· Lead technical projects related to new production lines, additional assembly capacity, process upgrades, and manufacturing scalability.
· Identify capacity constraints and drive corrective actions to support business and delivery targets.
CAPEX & Asset Management
· Plan, coordinate, and manage IRP’s manufacturing-related CAPEX projects.
· Ensure effective utilization, deployment, tracking, and maintenance of IRP-owned equipment, tools, and manufacturing assets.
· Coordinate equipment procurement, installation, qualification, commissioning, and handover activities.
· Monitor CAPEX budgets, project timelines, and implementation milestones.
Contingency Planning & Business Continuity
· Develop and implement contingency plans covering critical equipment, tools, fixtures, spares, and manufacturing infrastructure.
· Identify single points of failure within the EMS manufacturing process.
· Establish backup strategies for critical production equipment, tooling, and process dependencies.
· Ensure availability of critical spares and backup arrangements to minimize production disruptions.
Manufacturing & Assembly Process Compliance
· Ensure manufacturing and assembly processes meet IRP’s technical, quality, reliability, and production requirements.
· Maintain and update manufacturing process requirements, specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation.
· Work closely with EMS partners to ensure adherence to approved processes and manufacturing standards.
· Support process audits, technical reviews, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
· Own project planning, execution, tracking, risk management, and closure for assigned technical manufacturing projects.
· Establish milestones, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria.
· Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, procurement, EMS partners, and global stakeholders.
· Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, escalation points, and management reports.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
· Proven experience in technical project management within an EMS / Electronics Manufacturing Services environment.
· Strong technical understanding of electronics manufacturing and assembly processes.
· Experience with a state-of-the-art EMS company, preferably in high-mix, high-complexity, or automotive-grade manufacturing.
· Experience managing manufacturing capacity expansion, equipment deployment, CAPEX, or production readiness projects.
· Solid project planning, execution, tracking, and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience working in a global or matrix organization.
Technical & Industry Knowledge
· Good understanding of EMS manufacturing processes, electronics assembly, production line setup, process validation, and manufacturing readiness.
· Familiarity with automotive and/or aerospace manufacturing standards and quality requirements.
· Understanding of process compliance, technical documentation, change management, and manufacturing controls.
· Experience with contingency planning, critical spares, equipment backup, and manufacturing business continuity.
Communication & Leadership Skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to present project status, risks, investment requirements, and recommendations to senior management.
· Strong coordination and influencing skills across internal teams, EMS partners, and global stakeholders.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
· You are a technical project owner, not just a coordinator.
· You understand how manufacturing works and can challenge technical decisions when required.
· You anticipate risks before they become production disruptions.
· You can move between strategic planning and detailed execution.
· You take ownership of timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
We are looking for a technically strong and execution-focused EMS - Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate manufacturing-related technical projects across our EMS partner ecosystem. This role will ensure that manufacturing capacity, infrastructure, equipment, processes, and contingency plans are ready to support product mix changes, volume ramp-ups, and business growth. The position requires a strong understanding of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), hands-on project execution capability, and the ability to operate effectively within a global matrix organization.
