Job Summary:

The Closing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the loan closing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all mortgage loan closings. This role involves leading a team of closers, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining strict adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of mortgage closing procedures, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the closing department, including workflow distribution, performance monitoring, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and accuracy of all closing documents, including Closing Disclosures (CDs), loan estimates, and final loan packages, ensuring they meet all regulatory and investor requirements.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure), RESPA, TILA, and other relevant mortgage lending laws.
- Coordinate effectively with title companies, escrow agents, lenders, real estate agents,



loan officers, and borrowers to facilitate seamless and productive loan closings.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve complex closing issues, discrepancies, and potential delays proactively and efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and provide ongoing professional development to closing team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
- Implement and optimize closing processes, procedures, and technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall departmental productivity.
- Stay current with industry changes, regulatory updates, and investor guidelines, ensuring the team's practices are always up-to-date and compliant.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on closed loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to all compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.
- Prepare and present reports on closing volume, efficiency metrics, and compliance adherence to senior management.
