SBO strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, Globally._ **_Main responsibilities:_** _The overall purpose and main responsibilities are listed below:_ _Responsible for project management support to the scientific writer ensuring the end-to-end effective project delivery of the designated publication/medical education deliverable across all phases. Initiate and amend submission based on comments (as required). Support the writer with the development of a scope of work; build plan and schedule for agreement with the internal stakeholders. Arrange key internal and external stakeholder meetings. Track the delivery of activities (including managing issues and risks) and support follow up. Support required submission, compliance/approval activities, and ensure compliance with publication processes and end-to-end publication management tools (e.g., iEnvision - previously, Datavision/Matrix) and update as required with approval/compliance tools (e.g., PromoMats). Support the management of the assigned publication or medical education in line with the agreed budget. Support and manage as required external spend tracking (e.g., approvals, purchase orders, and goods received). Support adherence to associated compliance related activities and approvals (with internal stakeholder taking accountability for compliance). Take lead in liaising with global stakeholders for publication planning and coordinating medical events. Maintain integrated scientific communication plan with quarterly updates in consultation with stakeholders. Help in coordination of medical events and advisory boards and other medical events, as appropriate. Lead, mentor and build team of associate project specialists/project specialists/associate project managers; drive performance management, career development and coaching to foster individual growth and team excellence. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders: Scientific communication global and/or local teams; and medical content enhancement teams. Support Service Now implementation for end-to-end workflow management and reporting._ + _People: (1) Maintain effective relationship with the end stakeholders (medical scientific community) with an end objective to develop education and communication content as per requirement; (2) Actively lead and develop SBO associates; and (3) Ensure new technologies are leveraged; (4) In support of the Team Lead, drive team performance management and accountability through regular performance reviews, structured feedback mechanisms, and clear goal-setting aligned to organizational priorities; (5) Support recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new team members,



including implementation of robust onboarding programs with therapy area training; (6) Build team capability through continuous skill development, upskilling initiatives, and learning opportunities tailored to individual and team needs; (7) Foster retention and engagement by creating a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe team environment where team members feel valued and empowered; (8) Delegate effectively and empower team members to take ownership of deliverables, building confidence and accountability at all levels._ + _Performance: (1) Ensure publication/medical education materials (slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts etc.) are delivered, stored as per agreed timelines and quality; (2) Develop tools, technology, and process to constantly improve quality and productivity_ + _Process: (1) Support delivery of projects in terms of resourcing, quality, timeliness, efficiency, and high technical standards for deliveries made by the medical writing group, including scientific documents and clinical/medical reports; (2) Contribute to overall quality enhancement by ensuring high scientific standards for the output produced by the medical writing group; and (3) Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards; (4) Adhere to and promote BOOM (Business Operations Operating Model) standards, supporting the goal of 70% of teams operating under BOOM; (5) Ensure 100% compliance with mandatory trainings, SOPs, applicable working guidelines, and ESM (Service Now) processes and requirements to meet operational KPIs; and (6) Support process standardization across GBUs and drive consistency in SciComm operations across hubs._ + _Stakeholder: (1) Work closely with scientific communication/medical content enhancement teams to ensure the end-to-end effective project delivery of the designated publication/medical education deliverables; (2) Drive robust stakeholder governance frameworks to identify strategic needs, review progress, and ensure quality delivery; and (3) Enable value creation by supporting in-sourcing of SciComm activities, reducing external dependencies, and providing strategic support aligned with medical objectives_ **_About you_** + **Experience** : _>8 years post qualification experience_ + **Soft skills** : _Stakeholder management; communication skills; and ability to work independently and within a team environment; data-driven decision-making mindset; and cross-functional collaboration across global, matrixed teams; people leadership and team management experience; ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members at varying levels of seniority; performance management experience including goal-setting, feedback, and development planning; and conflict resolution and interpersonal skills to navigate complex team dynamics._ + **Technical skills** :
