Requirement for Freshers - Draftsman (Railway) | Internship-to-Full time | Matrix Geo Solutions Limited, Dwakra Mod

We are currently looking to onboard 2-3 fresher candidates for the role of Draftsman (Railway Engineering Drawings) at our Delhi office.

Programme Structure:

- Candidates will be brought on board as Interns for the first 6 months , with a monthly stipend of INR 12,000.

- Based on their performance during the internship, they will be offered a Full-Time role with the company, along with a suitable increment in compensation.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with experience in Indian Railway engineering drawing standards. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing engineering drawings including L-Sections, Cross Sections, Engineering Scale Plans, Index Plans, and Index Sections, strictly adhering to Indian Railway (IR) standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

L-Section & Cross Section Drawings

- Prepare Longitudinal Sections (L-Sections) and Cross Sections as per Indian Railway standards and specifications.

- Plot existing ground levels and proposed formation levels accurately with correct vertical and horizontal scales.

- Incorporate earthwork details, gradients, curves, and drainage structures as per IR guidelines.

- Ensure all annotations, chainage markings, and legends conform to IR drafting norms.

Engineering Scale Plans (Existing & Proposed)





- Draft Engineering Scale Plans depicting existing and proposed railway alignments, structures, and infrastructure.

- Accurately represent plan and profile details including ROW boundaries, existing utilities, and proposed works.

- Update drawings to reflect field survey data and design revisions.

Index Plan & Index Section

- Prepare Index Plans showing project location, alignment overview, and key reference features.

- Develop Index Sections clearly depicting the general scope and sequence of the project.

- Ensure all index drawings comply with IR presentation and submission standards.

General Drafting & Documentation

- Maintain drawing registers, revision history, and document control records.

- Coordinate with survey teams, design engineers, and field staff to gather inputs for drawings.

- Prepare drawing submission packages as per client / Indian Railway authority requirements.

- Assist in quantity estimation and BOQ preparation based on drawings.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- AutoCAD - Proficient in 2D drafting, layer management, plotting, and drawing formatting.

- Civil 3D - Experience in creating corridors, profiles, cross sections, and surface models.

- MS Excel - Ability to manage data tables, coordinate lists, quantity sheets, and calculation formats.

Pay: ₹10,218.49 - ₹12,000.00 per month
