Job Description We are seeking two highly experienced Technical Leads with strong Full Stack expertise in Java and React to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications supporting a large-scale Order Management and Supply Chain modernization initiative. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, architecture guidance, and the ability to drive complex platform enhancements across both backend services and frontend applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building cloud-native applications, leading distributed engineering teams, and delivering highly scalable solutions in event-driven environments. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable full-stack applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, React, and GraphQL. Drive architecture decisions, technical strategy, and best practices across multiple development teams. Build and enhance microservices supporting order lifecycle management, inventory, visibility, and operational workflows. Develop and optimize enterprise-grade React applications, ensuring performance, accessibility, and maintainability. Architect and implement event-driven solutions using Kafka. Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define and execute technical roadmaps. Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, technical design sessions, and hands-on development. Ensure application reliability through observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support. Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex technical issues.



Establish CI/CD best practices and drive engineering excellence across the organization. Support modernization efforts involving cloud-native technologies and distributed systems. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on enterprise application development. Prior Walmart experience 5+ years in a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Solutions Lead capacity. Expert-level Java and Spring Boot development experience. Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. Advanced React development experience in enterprise environments. Strong experience with event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka. Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures. Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or similar. Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization. Experience working within cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), Supply Chain, Retail, Inventory, Logistics, or Fulfillment platforms. Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch. Knowledge of Temporal workflows or orchestration platforms. Experience implementing observability solutions including logs, metrics, tracing, and dashboards. Familiarity with domain-driven design and event sourcing concepts. Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams.
