We are seeking an experienced SAP Profitability & Performance Management (PaPM) Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and SAP PaPM implementation, and will be responsible for driving profitability initiatives and providing analytical support to enhance business performance.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex software environments to maintain system reliability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on issue resolution and system improvements.- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks to prevent disruptions.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for profitability and performance management.
- Implement and configure SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) solutions based on business needs.




- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve profitability and performance metrics.
- Conduct testing and validation of SAP PaPM applications to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PaPM solutions, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP PaPM functionalities.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-16 years of experience in SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) or related financial software.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and performance management processes.
- Proficient in SAP PaPM configuration and implementation.
- Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.

Must Skills :• Gather and analyze business requirements related to profitability analysis, cost allocations, and performance management.• Develop and maintain PAPM environments, functions, processes,



and reporting structures.• Design allocation methodologies based on business drivers and organizational requirements.• Support scenario planning and financial simulations.• Support data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.• Design profitability and performance reports for business users and management.• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Profitability & Performance Mgt PaPM.- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software issues within business-critical systems.- Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level packaged applications with a focus on performance and reliability.- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive resolution and continuous improvement.- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques to ensure optimal application performance.- Excellent communication skills to document issues clearly and convey technical information to diverse stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Profitability & Performance Mgt PaPM.- This position is based at our Pune office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
