3. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Field O&M; Engineer is responsible for daily activity of plant and providing update all the activity to Site as well as H.O team.

4. COMMUNICATION

The post holder will be in contact with:

• Internally- Head Asset Operation, Site Manager (Asset Operation), Portfolio Manager(Asset Operation), Cluster Lead(Asset Operation).

• Externally-OEM Team, Third Party Vendor.

5. PROFILE

• Qualification Diploma/BE/BTech/MTech (Mechnical)

• Experience 7-10 years of experience in the field of Renewables Energy

• Knowledge – Familiarity with industry standards and practices, Understanding of various types of Wind Turbines and their specifications, Knowledge of Land requirements for Wind Turbines, Proficiency in Wind Resource Assessment techniques, Expertise in Micro-siting, Meso-scale wind methods, wind flow modelling, wind farm design, site screening, and feasibility analysis.

• ICT Skills – WTG Software, Microsoft 365, SCADA knowledge, OFC cable.

• Communication, Management, Risk/ uncertainty analysis, & Project/task prioritization.

• Abilities – Critical thinking, Task management, Team Management.

• Language- English/Hindi/Regional

6. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

1) WTG Parameter Assessment

a) Objectives

i) Monitor repetitive warning as well as repetitive WTG errors; monitor repetitive feeder tripping’s and get the relevant work done by OEMs.

ii)



Monitor various conditional parameter readings (CMS – Condition Monitoring System) recorded by OEM personnels’ & report the deviations observed if any to EDFRI management.

iii) Prepare and share weekly as well as monthly reports.

b) Measures

i) Accuracy of reports.

2) WTG Data collection & Compilation

a) Objectives

i) Monitor & co-ordinate day-to-day performance of operating WTGs as per the guidelines provided by EDFRI management.

ii) Perform data analysis on the production data of the turbines (Power Curve Analysis) and advice OEM on improving the performance of the assets on a daily/ weekly basis.

iii) Prepare as well as present regular internal reports and site status in an accurate and timely manner.

3) OEM/ Vendor Management

a) Objectives

i) Supervise and witness all the activities being performed by the OEM sand their Subcontractors as and when required.

ii) Perform physical in office inspections of the turbines, Balance of Plant works and inspect the general state of the site.

b) Measures

i) Frequency of Activity Witness.

4) Process, Compliance, Analytics and Training

a) Objectives

i) Adhere to QHSE policies and guidelines.

ii) Create management reports, other relevant MIS.

iii) Stay informed and up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in wind industry.

5) Follow-up & Witness

i. Ensure enough quantity of service kits are available at site to carry out the PM activity at site.

ii. Ensure adherence to various schedule activities as well as various statutory requirement inspection activities.

iii. Perform physical on-site inspections of the turbines, balance of plant works and inspect the general state of all assets including HT lines, roads and pathways.
