Job Title: Assistant Manager-BOP ENGINEER
Reporting Line: SITE MANAGER
Department: ASSET OPERATION
Employment Type: PERMANENT
On Site / HO Role: ON SITE
2. CONTRIBUTION
• Financial: Billing reading execution, Penalty calculations
• Non-Financial: Coordination with Power Grids, PSS/33kV/220kV Line, Coordination with Govt Agencies, Vendor manpower management.
3. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Assistant Manager-BoP Engineer is responsible for daily activity of plant and update all the activity to Site as well as H.O team.
4. COMMUNICATION
• Internally:Head Asset Operation, Site Manager (Asset Operation), Portfolio Manager (Asset Operation), Cluster Lead (Asset Operation).
• Externally: OEM Team, Third Party Vendor
5. PROFILE
• Qualification: Diploma (Electrical) / BE (Electrical) / BTech (Electrical)
• Experience: 8-10 years of experience in the field of Renewable Energy
• Knowledgeo Familiarity with industry standards and practiceso Understanding of various types of Wind Turbines and their specificationso Knowledge of Land requirements for Wind Turbineso Proficiency in Wind Resource Assessment techniqueso Expertise in Micro-siting, Meso-scale wind methods, wind flow modelling, wind farm design, site screening, and feasibility analysis.
• ICT Skillso PSS SCADAo Microsoft 365o Equipment & Testing knowledge
• Other Skillso Communicationo Managemento Risk/uncertainty analysiso Project/task prioritization
• Abilitieso Critical thinking
• Language English / Hindi
6. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES (Text Format with Objectives & Measures)
1. BOP OperationsObjectives:
• Daily operation of Balance of Plant (BOP)
• Inspection and Testing of Critical equipment’s.
• Prepare technical specifications of Pooling Sub stations (PSS).Measures
:• Frequency of inspection and testing conducted.2. Data Collection & CompilationObjectives
:• Review vendor's technical documents for PSS.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for the BOP of Wind Farm.
• Review of vendor drawings and QAPs and suggest improvement/revisions.
• Evaluate the technical aspects of vendor proposals/quotations and conduct comparative study.
• Coordination with project team for any power evacuation system–related queries at site.Measures
:• Un-interrupt Data Collection (in %).3. OEM / Vendor ManagementObjectives:
• Value Engineering for BOP to achieve best cost performance in partnership with Procurement team.
• Vendor visits – Inspection and Testing of Critical equipment’s.Measures:
• Activity Witness.4. Process, Compliance, Analytics and TrainingObjectives:
• Adhere to QHSE policies and guidelines.
• Create management reports and other relevant MIS
.• Stay informed and up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in wind industry.Measures:
• Compliance adherence (%).5. Follow up & WitnessObjectives:
• Ensure enough quantity of service kits are available at site to carry out PM activity
.• Ensure execution of scheduled/unscheduled works in a quality manner and as per plan
.• Prepare and present regular internal reports accurately and timely
.• Ensure adherence to schedule activities and statutory inspection requirements.
• Supervise, oversee, check, and challenge subcontractors, service & maintenance teams, or other contractors on the works performed on site.Measures:
