Job Title: Equity Dealer

Department: Broking / Dealing Desk

Reports To: Dealing Room Head / Branch Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Equity Dealer to execute client trades efficiently and accurately across the equity segment, while ensuring compliance with exchange and regulatory norms. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on dealing room experience within a broking firm.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute buy/sell orders for clients across Cash, F&O;, and other equity segments on trading terminals (NSE/BSE)
- Handle high call volumes and process orders with speed and accuracy during market hours
- Monitor client positions, margins, and exposure limits in real time




- Advise clients on market movements, trends, and trading opportunities as permitted
- Ensure strict adherence to SEBI/exchange compliance, risk management protocols, and internal SOPs
- Coordinate with Risk, Back Office, and Compliance teams on margin shortfalls, RMS calls, and settlement issues
- Maintain accurate records of client orders, confirmations, and contract notes
- Handle client queries related to trade execution, positions, and account status
- Support client retention and satisfaction through prompt and qualified service

Candidate Profile

- 5–6 years of experience as a dealer in a broking firm
- Strong working knowledge of trading terminals (NEST, ODIN, NSE NOW, or similar) and exchange systems
- Sound understanding of equity markets, F&O;, margin/RMS norms, and settlement cycles
- NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification mandatory; NISM Series VII/others preferred
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure during market hours
- Solid communication skills to handle client calls professionally

Educational Qualification

- Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Relevant NISM/NCFM certifications required
