Role & responsibilities :
- Cash Operations: Accept and process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and CASA (Current Account Savings Account) transactions.
- Cash Drawer Management: Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer daily, ensuring absolute accuracy and periodic check batching.
- Vault & Currency Handling: Buy and sell currency from the vault to keep proper cash levels, count and package coins/currency, and manage mutilated notes or excess cash.
- Dual-Control & Security: Follow strict dual-control procedures during vault operations and manage safety deposit.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions strictly follow bank policies, operational rules, and regulatory guidelines.
- Customer Service: Handle walk-in customers, manage queues, and resolve front-desk queries efficiently.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Promote recent bank products, identify customer financial needs, and cross-sell services.
