We are hiring a Data Business Analyst

Experience: 5+

Mode:HYbrid - Bangalore

Shift- 2PM -11PM

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Must Have:

 Domain Expertise: Strong Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance

domain knowledge (deep understanding of policy, claims, billing,

and underwriting data processes).

 Guidewire Proficiency: Practical experience with Guidewire X-

Center and familiarity with insurance reporting frameworks.

Hands-on experience navigating the Guidewire data model and

data dictionary.

 Data Competency: Solid working knowledge of Data

Warehousing concepts, dimensional data modeling, and

proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.

 Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of ETL concepts, data

flows, and transformation logic.

 Documentation & Translation: Proven ability to gather functional

business requirements and translate them into detailed technical

specifications for engineering teams.

 Delivery Support: Experience collaborating directly with data





engineering and QA teams to support build, testing, and

validation phases.

 Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with an attention

to detail.

 Agile Setting: Proficiency in agile delivery methodologies

and tools (Jira, Confluence).

 Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication

skills, capable of interacting effectively with both functional

business users and technical development teams.

Good to Have:

 Hands-on experience creating functional reports/dashboards

(e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for business stakeholders.

 Understanding of cloud data ecosystems, specifically AWS (S3,

Glue, Lambda) and Snowflake integration patterns.

 Exposure to data quality frameworks and metadata management

tools.

 Experience working effectively in onsite/offshore engagement

models.
