Description
The Zonal Sales Manager – Retail Health will head all sales initiatives for USGI’s Retail Health division across the East region. You will build and inspire a high‑performing team of health‑centric agents and brokers, ensure flawless IRDA coding and branch activation, execute vertical growth strategies, and boost health insurance penetration. The role requires robust leadership, analytical insight, and deep regulatory knowledge to achieve sustainable revenue growth and maintain strict compliance.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, coach, and motivate the East region sales team to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Oversee IRDA agent coding processes, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and data accuracy.
- Lead branch agent activation programs, onboarding new agents and expanding the distribution network.
- Develop and execute vertical growth strategies to capture untapped market segments.
- Increase health product penetration through targeted campaigns, broker tie‑ups, and cross‑selling initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)



and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales tactics with brand messaging and new product launches.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budget plans, and resource allocation for the zone.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions and workshops to enhance team capabilities and product knowledge.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in health insurance or retail health.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the East region.
- In‑depth knowledge of IRDA regulations and agent coding requirements.
- Strong leadership and team‑building skills with a focus on motivation and performance.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
