Role Summary::
We are looking for a Sr Principal Software Engineer, Mac UI Engineer to lead the design and development of high-quality, customer-facing Mac desktop experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role for an engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong product thinking, architectural judgment, and cross-functional influence.
The ideal candidate brings solid proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and C/C++, along with a proven ability to build polished, performant, and reliable Mac user interfaces at scale. This role requires close collaboration with product management, design, platform, and quality teams to deliver intuitive user experiences while driving sound engineering practices across the organization.
Experience using AI tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and development workflows is a strong plus.

What You Will Do::
· Architect, design, and develop modern Mac UI features for customer-facing desktop applications
· Lead implementation of complex UI workflows using Swift, Objective-C, and C/C++




· Drive technical direction for Mac UI architecture, maintainability, scalability, and performance
· Partner with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to translate product requirements into elegant user experiences
· Own critical technical decisions across the UI layer, including frameworks, patterns, integrations, and code quality standards
· Review code, provide technical guidance, and raise the engineering bar through strong design and implementation practices
· Mentor engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, and day-to-day collaboration while remaining hands-on in development
· Troubleshoot complex production issues across UI, system integration, memory, performance, and stability areas
· Advocate for usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency across the Mac user experience
· Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering workflows, release quality, and develope
