Job Summary

The Assistant Manager - Canada Payroll is responsible for managing end-to-end Canadian payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance,



reporting, reconciliations, and stakeholder management. The role requires robust knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, payroll systems, taxation, benefits administration, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Canadian employees on a weekly, bi-weekly
- Review payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, expenses, and mileage.
- Validate payroll calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure payroll deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved.
- Perform payroll audits and quality checks before payroll submission.

Compliance & Statutory Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Canadian federal and provincial payroll regulations.
- Manage payroll-related statutory deductions, including:
