Assistant Manager – Sales Role Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), energy solutions, and related products. The role requires robust commercial acumen, customer engagement skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project closures.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, utility, and renewable energy sectors.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, channel partners, and customer referrals.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, EPCs, consultants, and channel partners.




- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable BESS and energy storage solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.

Proposal & Commercial Management
- Coordinate with technical and engineering teams to prepare techno-commercial proposals.
- Support pricing, negotiations, contract discussions, and order finalization.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations, tenders, and commercial documentation.

Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the energy storage sector.
- Provide regular market feedback to management for strategic decision-making.
- Identify potential business segments and expansion opportunities.

Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support project handovers and customer onboarding post-sales closure.
