Roles & responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the US Department of Qualified Practice (DPP) to support the development of high‑quality technical accounting content.
Develop and refine US GAAP technical accounting guidance and illustrative examples, with a primary focus on DPP Accounting Handbooks and other external‑facing materials, leveraging strong technical research, writing skills, and evolving AI tools.
Monitor and stay current on FASB project developments, particularly those relevant to your assigned topic team(s).
Prepare content for and potentially present on technical accounting matters at US DPP group or topic team meetings and on external-facing webcasts/podcasts.
Support group‑wide initiatives and special projects as needed.
Assist with the ongoing needs and daily operations of our technical accounting topic teams.
Plan and organize work effectively, conducting upfront and post‑engagement reviews of deliverables to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
Demonstrate strong project management skills,



including managing stakeholder expectations and proactively communicating progress, risks, and issues.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior GDC/DPP team members, and collaborate with senior team members on the GDC/DPP India team as needed.
