Stantec is looking for Principal GIS to join our growing Geospatial team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a broad spectrum of domain expertise in GIS, robust project management capabilities, and hands-on experience with ESRI software. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality geospatial solutions, mentoring team members, and driving strategic growth initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex GIS workflows, data issues, automation challenges, and delivery risks.
- Lead GIS projects from scoping, estimation, planning, execution, QA/QC, and final delivery for global project teams.
- Define and maintain technical standards, reusable templates, QA/QC processes, and best-practice workflows.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level GIS staff through technical reviews, coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
