Job Purpose (1-2 Lines)

Experienced and highly motivated scientist to design, develop, optimize, and execute in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays in support of drug discovery programs. Responsible for generating high-quality data, troubleshooting assays, analyzing results,



communicating to stakeholders and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Electrophysiology assays – patch clamping
- Design, develop, optimize, execute and troubleshoot biochemical and cell-based assays
- Independently perform experiments and generate high-quality, reproducible data.
- Compound screening, profiling, and mechanism-of-action studies in multiple therapeutic areas
- Analysis and interpretation of experimental data
- Presentation and communication of data to stakeholders
- Following Syngene’s data quality, integrity and EHSS guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with quality, data integrity, and EHSS standards

Educational Qualification: Masters in pharmacology / life sciences/ biotechnology/ biological engineering

Experience: 5-8 years of working in drug discovery industry

Technical/functional Skills:
- Strong experience in mamm
