Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions

• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large datasets

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into productive database solutions

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security

• Perform database troubleshooting and resolve performance issues

• Support application development teams with database-related changes

• Develop and maintain ETL processes (if applicable)

• Participate in database deployments and release management

• Document database designs, logic, and standards

• Work closely with QA teams to support data validation and testing





Required Technical Skills

Database & SQL

• Strong expertise in SQL (Advanced queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, indexing)

• Hands-on experience with RDBMS:

o Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL (any one or more)

• Proficiency in Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views

• Experience with query optimization and performance tuning

Tools & Technologies

• Experience with database tools such as:

o SQL Developer, SSMS, pgAdmin, TOAD

• Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica, SSIS, Talend – preferred)

• Experience with version control (Git)
