Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development efforts with business goals, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintain high performance, and adhere to established quality standards. Collaboration and leadership are central to the role,



as it involves coordinating with various stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes and foster innovation within the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to capture As-Is manufacturing processes and define To-Be digital transformation roadmaps.

2. Translate complex business requirements into high-level functional specifications and Solution Blueprints.

3. Architect solutions across core DELMIA modules: Process Planner, Manufacturing Item Definition, Work Instructions, and Plant Layout.

4. Apply expertise in Digital Manufacturing simulations (Robotics, Ergonomics, and Time Studies) to validate production feasibility.

5. Design and govern the Change Management process (ECR/ECN) to ensure manufacturing is aligned with engineering revisions.

6. Define P&O; (People & Organization) structures, including security contexts, roles, and collaborative spaces.
