Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Automation QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of overall testing experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Playwright automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong automation testing skills, a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, and experience working in Agile development environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright.Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end automation test suites.Analyze business requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality software delivery.Participate in sprint planning, estimation, requirement reviews,
and retrospectives.Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
Improve test coverage, automation framework effectiveness, and execution efficiency.Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
Required Skills
Must Have
3 to 5 years of experience in Software Automation Testing and QA.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience in web application test automation.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Git-based source control management.
Positive to Have
Experience with API automation testing along with using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
