As a Project Buyer you will have the opportunity to independently lead the Order to Pay phase of large and time sensitive engineering projects.
You will be expected to run the Order to Pay process for assigned projects with minimal supervision
You will also be working closely with our engineering and logistics teams to find the most optimal supply chain setup for the project in a dynamic environment.
You will be part of a very experienced team in Maersk Procurement with a long track record of driving procurement very professionally with a strong focus on automation, decarbonization and ESG agenda.
This position is an Individual Contributor role based in Mumbai, India with minimal need for travel.
Key responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced purchase/ procurement/ supply chain manager who is passionate about Supply Chain and has the agility, drive and discipline to ensure on-time and in-full execution as per project timelines.
Your responsibilities include:
- Executing projects for retrofit and upgrades on existing vessels
- Ongoing management of internal and external stakeholder relationships with a solid emphasis on creating partnerships and cooperation’s that drive results.
- Analysis and interpretation of project plans to assess risks, drive optimization, and continuous improvement on a global level.
